Privacy Policy

Quran Breeze ("we", "our", "the App") is an app for listening to Quran recitations paired with ambient background sounds. This policy explains how your information is handled when you use the App.

01. Information Involved

Your preferences (stored on device)

• Listening settings: reciter, ambient sound, mix volumes, accent color, language.
• Library: favorite surahs, playlists, playback position.
• Downloads: recitations saved for offline listening.

This data stays on your device and is not sent to our servers. The App requires no account.

Information processed automatically

• Subscription status: whether you have an active premium subscription, handled by our billing provider.
• Anonymous usage analytics: usage events (screens viewed, features used) with no personal identifier, to improve the App.
• Attribution data: if you consent via the iOS tracking prompt (ATT), an anonymous advertising identifier (IDFA) helps measure which channels bring users to the App. No personal information is linked to it.

02. How We Use Information

Information is used only to run and improve the App:

• Play recitations and ambient sounds according to your preferences
• Keep your favorites, playlists and playback progress
• Manage your premium subscription
• Understand overall usage through anonymous analytics
• Measure, with your consent, the effectiveness of our campaigns

03. Data Storage

Your preferences and downloads are stored locally on your device (key-value storage and the device file system), protected at rest by iOS's built-in encryption. We operate no database and no user accounts. Your data does not leave your device except as described in Section 4.

Deleting the App permanently removes all local data.

05. Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your name, email or any personal identifier
• We require no account creation
• We display no advertising
• We never sell your data
• We do not track your activity across other apps or websites

Attribution (AppsFlyer) measures only how you discovered the App, not what you do inside it. This data is anonymous and requires your explicit consent via the iOS tracking prompt.

06. Children's Privacy

The App is not specifically directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. As the App collects no personal information and requires no account, no identifiable data is stored on our systems.

07. Data Security

Your data is kept locally using encrypted storage. Because we do not transmit or store your personal data on external servers, its security relies on your device's built-in protections (passcode, Face ID, etc.).

08. Your Rights

Almost all of your data is stored locally: you can remove everything by uninstalling the App.

For data sent to our analytics services (PostHog, AppsFlyer), you can request deletion by emailing the address below. We will process your request within 30 days, in accordance with the GDPR.

09. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are indicated by an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
